AC Milan confirm talks with Everton to sign Gerard Deulofeu on loan

Gerard Deulofeu signed a permanent deal with Everton in 2015.

AC Milan are attempting to sign Everton's Gerard Deulofeu on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell at Goodison Park during the 2013-14 season and rejoined permanently from Barcelona in 2015.

However, Deulofeu has made just 13 appearances since Ronald Koeman's summer arrival and could now leave this month, with Milan confirming their interest in the Everton winger.

Former Crew SC keeper Steve Clark joins Danish club AC Horsens

Steve Clark has moved onto Denmark after three years in MLS.

Former Columbus Crew SC goalkeeper Steve Clark has signed a six-month contract with Danish club AC Horsens.

Clark started 100 straight games for Columbus over the past three seasons, but the MLS club did not pick up his option in December, and the 30-year-old said he wanted to explore options abroad.

"We've made such a great home there. But this is a business and for me, and also I think the Crew, too, it's a good time and a good year to separate," Clark told the Columbus Dispatch.

Birmingham City confirm MLS interest for U.S. defender Jonathan Spector

Jonathan Spector has played for Birmingham City since 2011.

U.S. international Jonathan Spector could leave Birmingham City this month after manager Gianfranco Zola confirmed interest from MLS.

Spector, 30, is Birmingham's longest-serving player, having been with the Blues since joining from West Ham in 2011.

He started his professional career with Manchester United in 2003 and has never played in MLS, but Zola said a move may be on the cards.

Swansea City have completed the signing of Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll, they announced on Tuesday.

Spurs will receive a transfer fee of around £4.5 million for the 24-year-old, sources told ESPN FC.
