Neymar hints at Man United move; Man City readying Kyle Walker bid

Shaka Hislop finds it hard to justify why Neymar would want to make a move to Manchester United.

The football world's gossip mill is in full swing, and Transfer Talk is monitoring the whispers ahead of all the summer moves. Check out the latest deals and potential deals here.

Neymar hints at Man United buyout

Jose Mourinho has been enquiring about a possible deal that would see Neymar make a move to Old Trafford this summer. According to whom, you ask? None other than the Brazilian sensation himself, says the Daily Record.

FIFA fines Albanian FA for fans setting off fireworks against Italy

Albania fans
Albania's fans disrupted the World Cup qualifier against Italy.

FIFA has fined the Albanian Football Association 100,000 Swiss francs (£78,000) for the misbehaviour of its national team's fans during last month's World Cup qualifier against Italy in Palermo.

The hosts won the Group G game 2-0 but it was held up for eight minutes when Albania supporters threw fireworks, flares and smoke bombs on the pitch. Italian fans also set off flares during the game and the Italian FA has been fined nearly £12,000.

Quintero to relight spark of once promising career with Medellin in Copa

Juan Fernando Quintero was once hailed as the future of Colombian football. He may still be.

There are not too many stars from the 2014 World Cup in action in the 2017 Copa Libertadores. True, Brazil's much-maligned centre-forward Fred is still banging in the goals for Atletico Mineiro, where Ecuador centre-back Frickson Erazo is recovering from injury. A compatriot of his, once of Major League Soccer, Oswaldo Minda is a substitute for Barcelona of Guayaquil. And a trio of Uruguayan players have returned home to round out their careers: defenders Jorge Fucile and Alvaro Gonzalez with Nacional...

Copa Lib struggling for breakout stars as it hits the halfway stage

The Copa Lib has been a slog so far as the halfway point of the group stage comes and goes. Where are the stars?

The weekend's clasico headlines naturally went to Lionel Messi, given his goals, which makes it easy to overlook the fact that four of the five goals in the Real Madrid-Barcelona game were scored by South Americans (Casemiro and James Rodriguez were on target for Real). Earlier in the day, Sergio Aguero and Alexis Sanchez both scored in the Arsenal-Manchester City FA Cup semifinal, with Willian scoring twice for Chelsea against Tottenham in Saturday's other semifinal.

The South American contribution...

Goal scoring Brazilian fish branded 'new Neymar' after tail flip tricks

A fish -- yes, a fish -- in Brazil has been likened to Neymar thanks to its uncanny prowess in front of goal.

Details are a little thin on the ground, but the aquatic goal-poacher has become something of a local celebrity in Brazil after being filmed using its tail to whip a tiny football into a tiny net over and over again.

Of course, critics have suggested that Neymarfish has simply benefited from being a big fish in a small pond and that now is the time to really test his/her mettle with a...
