Oageng Maphorisa shines as Botswana down Seychelles

Oageng Maphorisa added his second goal of the COSAFA U-17 Cup as Botswana took a major step to the semi finals by defeating the Seychelles 2-1 on Saturday.

Maphorisa scored the only goal of the game for the Zebras - a late penalty - as they downed Mauritius in their opening fixture, and was again influential as they maintained their 100 percent record at the St. Francois Xavier Stadium, Port Louis.

Zimbabwe goalkeeper George Chigova saved three penalties in the post-match shootout against Botswana as the Warriors booked a semifinal place in the 2018 COSAFA Cup with a 4-1 victory that followed a 1-1 draw in the 90 minutes.

Premier Soccer League side SuperSport United have confirmed the capture of Botswana international Mogakolodi Ngele from city rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
