Nikola Milenkovic has won one cap for Serbia.

Partizan Belgrade defender Nikola Milenkovic is set to join Fiorentina in a €5.1 million deal this summer, the Serbian Super Liga club have announced.

Milenkovic, 19, who joined Partizan as a youth player and was loaned out to Serbian League Belgrade side FK Teleoptik for a spell last season, moves to Italy after scoring two goals in 44 first-team performances for his club.

Partizan general manager Milos Vazura said in a statement quoted on Fiorentina's official website: "We have confirmed the transfer of Milenkovic, [who] from July 1 will be a player of Fiorentina.

"The value of the deal is €5.1m and is one of the most important transfers for Partizan in the last 10 years. Fiorentina was not the only club concerned, there was interest [also] from Hamburg and more.

"I wish to congratulate Nikola and his family, who have behaved in an exemplary way and I wish him all the best to make a great career.''
