Sebastien Desabre's Uganda spearheading East Africa's footballing ascent

East Africa has led the way for the continent in various sporting disciplines, primarily athletics, with the region's footballing achievements lagging behind, yet Uganda coach Sebastien Desabre believes change is afoot.

Dylan Kerr resigns from Gor Mahia

Gor Mahia have confirmed that they have parted ways with English coach Dylan Kerr, who led K'Ogalo to two consecutive Kenyan Premier League titles.

The manager travelled to England with the team for last week's Sportpesa Cup clash against Everton at Goodison Park, but didn't return to Kenya with Gor amidst a health scare.

Gor Mahia CEO Lodvick Aduda is concerned about the absence of head coach Dylan Kerr, who has gone AWOL since the Kenyan champions' exhibition match against Everton earlier this week.
