Silvio Berlusconi: Italy can't blame foreign players for World Cup failure

Shaka Hislop shares his thoughts on whether Carlo Ancelotti is the right man to bring Italy back to their former glory.
Gab Marcotti explains why he believes Italy's World Cup qualifying failure could factor into Napoli's clash against Milan.

Former AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has refused to blame the large number of overseas players in Serie A for Italy's failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Massimiliano Allegri defended the form of Paulo Dybala after the striker missed key penalties in recent weeks.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says comparisons between Paulo Dybala and Lionel Messi will not affect his forward when the Catalans visit Turin on Wednesday night.

Dybala, 24, has scored 42 goals in Serie A since joining Juventus from Palermo in 2015. He spent one season with Pogba before the Frenchman returned to Manchester United, and the next with Alves, who joined Paris-Saint Germain this summer.

Without them, Juventus' run of six Serie A titles is under challenge this season with the club trailing both Napoli and...

Udinese sack manager Luigi Delneri and hire Massimo Oddo to replace him

Former Pescara boss Massimo Oddo is the new manager of Udinese.

Udinese sacked coach Luigi Delneri on Tuesday and immediately replaced him with Massimo Oddo.

The 41-year-old Oddo has less than two years of coaching experience. He led Pescara to promotion to Serie A in 2016, but was fired the following February.

"Massimo Oddo is an up-and-coming coach and we believe he'll do very well here at Udinese,'' club sporting director Manuel Gerolin said.

Udinese have only 12 points from 12 matches this season and lost at home to Cagliari on Sunday, leaving them three...
