Franck Ribery has joined Fiorentina on a free transfer after the French winger ended his 12-year spell with Bayern Munich.

It has been a busy summer for La Viola after they were bought by United States businessman and New York Cosmos owner Rocco B. Commisso, having only survived relegation on the final day of the previous campaign.

Philippe Coutinho has joined Bayern Munich on loan from Barcelona with the option of a permanent transfer next summer for €120 million.
