World Cup: Cristiano Ronaldo (44') Portugal 2-1 Spain
The FC crew agree Spain and Portugal's draw in their opening match at the World Cup proved they are both a class above the rest of Group B.

David De Gea was guilty of a rare howler in Spain's 3-3 draw against Portugal in their opening World Cup game on Friday night.

Social media was awash with rival supporters laughing at the goalkeeper, the best in the world for his position, with some suggesting that United fans had become quiet. The reality is the opposite was true. While they love De Gea and want to see their players do well for their national teams, the goalkeeper's mistake gave United supporters reason to celebrate....

ESPN FC's Stewart Robson breaks down the latest transfer rumours surrounding Paul Pogba, Rafinha and more in Rumour Rater.
While Diogo Dalot may not be a Man United regular next season, Shaka Hislop feels it's a statement of intent for the future.

Phil Jones has said he wants to move on from the disappointment of Manchester United's FA Cup final defeat when England begin their World Cup campaign against Tunisia on Monday.

Jones conceded the penalty from which Chelsea's Eden Hazard secured victory at Wembley after bringing down the Belgium international, but told the Telegraph he could not afford to dwell on that moment.

Arsenal could be spurred to action by Aleksandr Golovin's dazzling display in World Cup

Russia put on a show in their 5-0 win over Saudi Arabia, Spain take on Portugal in a quest to silence the doubters and Mo Salah hopeful of making an appearance.
The FC crew break down Russia's hot start to the World Cup and try to temper expectations ahead of their remaining group stage games.

The last time Arsenal signed a twinkle-toed Russian who had commanded the world's attention with his breakout performance at a major tournament, they had to wait 228 days, into the depths of winter, to finally get him. Even then, the capture of Andrei Arshavin was only confirmed after a snowstorm that delayed the deal until 23 hours after the 2009 winter transfer window closed.

If, 10 years on from Arshavin's virtuoso tournament at Euro 2008, Arsenal are indeed in the market to sign a player who...

Anthony Martial's desire to leave Manchester United is sad but no surprise

In an exclusive interview with ESPN FC, Ryan Giggs recounts his Man United memories and reveals what the current squad can learn from his success.
Ale Moreno thinks Anthony Martial's absence from France's World Cup squad is due to his attitude in training more than his performance in matches.
Steve Nicol explains why Fred is a great addition to Manchester United's midfield and why the club were smart to seal the move before the World Cup.

It's a shame that Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United, but hardly a surprise. Moreover, unlike a year ago when he tweeted Les rumeurs sont fausses after being linked to Arsenal, this time the information has come straight from his agent and the player has not denied it.

Martial's teammates know he has not been happy for most of this year. The French international is not content with a lack of minutes, lack of progress and lack of participation in the World Cup. After a superb...
