West Bromwich Albion captain Fletcher, who faces United at Old Trafford on Saturday, was criticised by Wenger following a bruising encounter between United and Arsenal in August 2009.

Wenger claimed Fletcher was "only on the pitch to make fouls," an accusation that prompted Sir Alex Ferguson to say Wenger had "let himself down."

Scotland captain Fletcher led the team out at Wembley in the fluorescent pink outfit after FIFA ruled that the white sleeves on their predominantly dark blue...

Jonas Olsson is returning to Sweden after almost a decade at West Brom.

Swedish defender Jonas Olsson has left West Bromwich Albion to return to his homeland and join Djurgarden.

Jake Livermore: England recall gives hope to players struggling with issues

The ESPN FC panel look ahead to England's friendly against Germany and discuss why the rivalry isn't what it once was.
England forward Jermain Defoe believes himself and Zlatan Ibrahimovic set a good example for the younger generation.
James Ward-Prowse has explained why Gareth Southgate is the right man to lead England, citing his passion and drive.

Jake Livermore believes his return to the England team, four-and-a-half years after winning his only senior cap, will offer motivation and hope to those suffering difficult situations following his own journey back from the lowest period of his life.

Livermore, 27, is in line to win his second England cap against Germany in Dortmund on Wednesday having won his first against Italy in August 2012.

The West Bromwich Albion midfielder has returned to the senior squad, however, after escaping a two-year...
