Ulsan Hyundai sign Perth Glory's Jason Davidson

Perth Glory defender Jason Davidson has left the A-League club to make a shock move to South Korean giants Ulsan Hyundai.

A key part of the Glory's 2018-19 A-League premiership after signing from Croatian club Rijeka last August, Davidson made 28 appearances last season, scoring two goals and notching five assists.

It's understood the interest from Ulsan developed quickly, with an offer accepted within a week of the K-League team approaching the Glory.

Glory chief executive Tony Pignata said the...

Mix 'Jesus' Diskerud winner puts Ulsan Hyundai in AFC Champions League knockouts

Those who have followed Mix Diskerud's career closely are unlikely to say the 28-year-old was ever the walk-on-water type, much less to go as far as calling him a saviour.

However, the coach of Diskerud's Ulsan Hyundai team, Kim Do-hoon, credited the player who has been nicknamed "Jesus" in the K-League with divine intervention after the one-time U.S. international scored a cheeky winner in their Asian Champions League match against Sydney FC on Tuesday.

Diskerud's neat back-heel goal secured a...

A cheeky backheel goal ended Sydney FC's Asian Champions League hopes, with the Sky Blues losing 1-0 away to South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai on Tuesday.

The result left winless Sydney bottom of the four-team group with three points from five matches with one round to go.

Sydney are three-points behind China's second-placed Shanghai SIPG, who win the tie-breaker with the Sky Blues, having scored more away goals in their two head-to-head games.

They will now focus on Sunday's home A-League semifinal with...

The strong wind was the only winner as Sydney FC and South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai slugged out a 0-0 draw in Wednesday's Asian Champions League clash at Sydney's Jubilee Oval.

Sydney created most of the chances in a game attended by just 4,039 spectators, but struggled to get shots on target, especially kicking into the strong breeze in the second half.

Visiting goalkeeper Oh Seong-Hoon saved strong efforts from Adam Le Fondre early in the game and from Anthony Caceres just after half-time, but had...

Manchester City loan Mix Diskerud to K-League side Ulsan Hyundai

Mix Diskerud will spend the 2018-19 season on loan with Korean club Ulsan Hyundai.

Former United States international Mix Diskerud is joining K-League side Ulsan Hyundai on loan from Manchester City, the Korean club announced on Tuesday.

Diskerud, 27, spent the last year and a half on loan with Swedish club IFK Goteborg, initially from NYCFC and then Man City, starting 41 league games and scoring seven goals.

In January, he joined NYCFC's sister club Man City on a free transfer and signed a four-and-a-half-year contract, but never trained with or played for the Premier League...
