Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has slammed football's governing body's inaction over his claim that he was racially abused by Tottenham Hotspur fans earlier this season, and said that "racism has won."

Rudiger, 26, reported the alleged abuse in Chelsea's 2-0 win at Spurs in December, but the investigation has now closed after the north London club found no evidence of racial abuse toward the defender.

LONDON -- It really should all be about Olivier Giroud. The France forward, called in from the cold by Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, scored one and helped make the other to inspire his team to a crucial 2-1 London derby win against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham, but thanks to another episode of VAR farce, the story of this game was about a man in a video booth rather than a guy on the pitch.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has labelled the Premier League's VAR team's acceptance they should have issued a red card to Giovani Lo Celso during their 2-1 win over Tottenham as "not good enough."

Spurs' Lo Celso appeared to stamp on Cesar Azpilicueta and, despite the incident having been reviewed by VAR, referee Michael Oliver took no action.
