Stoke have 'no plans to sell' Xherdan Shaqiri - chairman Peter Coates

Xherdan Shaqiri is not leaving Stoke this season, says the club's chairman.

Stoke have "no plans" to sell winger Xherdan Shaqiri in this transfer window, according to chairman Peter Coates.

The 25-year-old Switzerland international has been linked with a move to Roma as a replacement for Liverpool-bound Mohamed Salah.

Shaqiri has shown flashes of the ability that prompted the Potters to pay £12 million for his services in 2015, but he has also delivered inconsistent performances and suffered from numerous niggling injuries during his two years in Staffordshire.

Crouch enjoys off-season 'family' time at the zoo

With the sun blazing and football on the back burner for a few more weeks, Peter Crouch has been using his summer holiday to wind down, relax and spend a bit of quality time with the family.
