Jonathan Bamba set for big campaign after Saint-Etienne return

Jonathan Bamba has been made to wait to make an impact at Saint-Etienne, but after returning from a loan deal at Angers, the Franco-Ivorian midfielder appears primed to make up for lost time this season after an impressive start to the campaign.

The 21-year-old has been with Saint-Etienne since 2011 when he signed as a youngster from hometown club UJA Alfortville, and netted the opening goal in ASSE's 3-0 victory over Amiens on Saturday after being given an opportunity in the Stephanois' first team.

Malcom's dramatic stoppage-time equaliser earned Bordeaux a 3-3 draw at Lyon, who saw midfielder Sergi Darder sent off in the first half as their 100 percent start to the Ligue 1 season came to an end.

Marseille and St Etienne continue perfect starts to Ligue 1 season

Lucas Ocampos struck three minutes from time to lead Marseille past Nantes.

A late goal from Lucas Ocampos secured Marseille a 1-0 win at Nantes to maintain their 100 percent start two games into the new Ligue 1 campaign.

Rudi Garcia's men had seen an effort from Florian Thauvin ruled out for offside before Maxime Lopez sent an effort just wide.
