Daniel Pinillos thumped home an injury-time equaliser to ensure the spoils were shared as Mark Warburton and Gary Rowett marked their first games in charge with a 2-2 draw between Nottingham Forest and Derby.

On a dramatic afternoon at the City Ground, Rowett's Rams looked to be on course for three points after two goals in the space of six second half minutes- from Matej Vydra and David Nugent - had seen them fight back from behind.

Zach Clough had put Forest ahead after only four minutes. But it...

Mark Warburton in talks to take Nottingham Forest job - reports

Mark Warburton
Mark Warburton could take the Nottingham Forest job in the coming days, reports say.

Nottingham Forest are in talks with former Rangers and Brentford boss Mark Warburton, according to multiple reports.

His appointment as manager could even be finalised in the next 48 hours, with Reds owner and chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi thought to be keen to have Warburton in charge for Saturday's home clash against East Midlands rivals Derby.

With academy boss Gary Brazil initially expected to remain in interim charge until the end of the season, Warburton had been earmarked as a summer target following...

Cauley Woodrow fired home his third Burton goal of the season to grab a precious 1-0 victory against Nottingham Forest.

The Fulham loanee swept home a free-kick on 26 minutes after Jackson Irvine had been upended by Joe Worrall following a sweeping Burton move.

The ball went through a poorly constructed and flimsy Forest wall and left goalkeeper Jordan Smith flapping as the strike flew past him.

In truth, Albion had been the better side up to that point and could have extended their lead soon afterwards,...

Lasse Vibe scored twice as Brentford brought Nottingham Forest crashing back down to earth with a 3-2 win at the City Ground.

Hopes were high amongst the home faithful following their 3-0 victory over Brighton three days earlier, but the Reds looked a pale shadow of the team that comprehensively sunk the Seagulls and the classy Jota's third goal sealed their fate and re-ignited their relegation fears.

Subs Ben Brereton reduced the arrears late on and Zach Clough added a second in injury-time, but the...
