Real Betis have completed the signing of Algeria midfielder Ryad Boudebouz from Montpellier.

Betis have paid a reported €7 million -- plus potential bonuses -- for the 27-year-old, who scored 11 goals and added nine assists in Ligue 1 last season.

Boudebouz has signed a four-year contract with Betis.

Montpellier have issued a statement denying reports in the French media that they've already received offers for Algeria playmaker Ryad Boudebouz, who's been heavily linked with a move away from Ligue 1 this window.

27-year-old Boudebouz was Montpellier's outstanding player during a testing campaign last term, scoring 11 goals and registering nine assists as MHSC evaded relegation to finish in 15th place.

Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner hopes to keep Manchester City loanee Aaron Mooy in the newly-promoted side for next season.

Huddersfield have signed Montpellier forward Steve Mounie for an undisclosed club record fee on a four-year contract.
