Sources: Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba boost for Man United as pair step up recovery

Steve Nicol and Craig Burley are skeptical of Man United despite the club's recent winning streak.
Steve Nicol says Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have not performed consistently despite being talented.

Eric Bailly and Paul Pogba are closing in on a return to action for Manchester United, sources have told ESPN FC.

Ivory Coast international Bailly has not played since damaging knee ligaments during a preseason friendly against Tottenham in Shanghai in July. Pogba, meanwhile, has not played since picking up an injury in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sept. 30.

Manchester United role surprised Daniel James

Steve Nicol and Craig Burley are skeptical of Man United despite the club's recent winning streak.
Steve Nicol says Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford have not performed consistently despite being talented.
Ale Moreno says Manchester United currently being 18 points behind Liverpool is accurate for their level.

The £15 million summer signing was battling to get into the Swansea team in the Championship this time last year but has established himself as a central figure for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in just a matter of months at Old Trafford.

By the numbers - Messi ties Ronaldo at 34; Guardiola hits historic low at 25

In the last weekend before we head into the November international break, club football once again delivered, throwing up some scarcely believable numbers.

Manchester United played best game of season against Brighton - Solskjaer

MANCHESTER, England -- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hailed Manchester United's performance against Brighton as their "best of the season".

The Norwegian labelled the 3-1 win as "exhilarating and entertaining" as Andreas Pereira, Marcus Rashford and a Davy Propper own goal handed his team a second comfortable win in the space of four days after the 3-0 victory over Partizan Belgrade on Thursday.

"I think it's our best performance of the season," said Solskjaer. "How we didn't end up with five, six, or seven...

Man United finally have something to cheer as Rashford, Martial and James dazzle vs. Brighton

MANCHESTER, England -- As far as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is concerned, this is more like it. In the summer, he envisioned a young, energetic front three of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James terrorising defences with blistering pace and against Brighton, the plan finally came together in an impressive 3-1 win.

Graham Potter's side arrived at Old Trafford hoping to set a new club record of three consecutive Premier League wins but by half-time, they were already in damage limitation...
