Gervinho leaves China to return to Serie A with Parma

Parma have completed the signing of former Arsenal and Roma winger Gervinho.

The Ivory Coast international, who left the Italian capital for Chinese club Hebei China Fortune in January 2016, has signed a contract until 2021 with the Serie A club .

He passed his medical in the Italian city on Friday after agreeing to have his contract in China terminated.

The 31-year-old spent three seasons in Serie A with Roma, scoring 17 goals in 71 outings for the Giallorossi.

Ayoub El Kaabi has joined Hebei China Fortune from Renaissance Berkane, the Moroccan side confirmed on Wednesday.

According to a post on RS Berkane's Facebook page, El Kaabi moves for 6 million Euros, and has signed a two-year deal with the Chinese Super League side, who are coached by ex-Wales boss Chris Coleman.

The 25-year-old forward was part of the Morocco side at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, starting the Atlas Lions' first game against Iran.

Former Wales manager Chris Coleman has been named the new head coach of Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune, the club announced on Sunday.

Schalke have announced a five-year deal with Hebei China Fortune.

Schalke have entered a strategic partnership with Hebei China Fortune and will help the Chinese Super League club to develop players.

The deal, reportedly worth €20 million, was announced on Thursday and will run for five years.
