Rui Fonte could return to the Fulham starting line-up when Middlesbrough visit Craven Cottage.

The Portuguese winger has recovered from a groin injury and was a late substitute at Burton last weekend.

Skipper Tom Cairney is still struggling with a knee injury, Lucas Piazon is recovering from a broken leg and Rafa Soares is out with an ankle problem.

Defender Tomas Kalas faces the club where he spent 18 months on loan from Chelsea.

Midfielder Adam Clayton will return to the Middlesbrough squad after sitting...

Lucas Akins' 51st minute penalty proved to be the difference as Burton Albion secured a first ever victory over Fulham with a 2-1 home success.

Akins fired home after defender Kyle McFadzean had been dragged down by Fulham skipper Kevin McDonald and referee Stephen Martin had pointed to the spot. It proved to be the winner despite Fulham dominating most of the second half but finding themselves unable to breach the Burton defence for a second time in the game.

Fulham claimed a first home win of the Championship season as Stefan Johansen's second-half goal helped them beat Hull 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

Norwegian Johansen struck after Jarrod Bowen had cancelled out Floyd Ayite's first-half effort.

Hull came into this game on the back of a disappointing 5-0 defeat Derby last Saturday and they struggled to get hold of the ball early on.

It was Fulham who enjoyed much of the possession and looked to create the chances as Liverpool loanee Sheyi Ojo shot over on...

Luca de la Torre has signed on to spend the next three years with Fulham.

U.S. youth international Luca de la Torre signed a contract extension with Fulham on Tuesday, tying him to the club until 2020.

De la Torre, 19, was born in San Diego but came up through Fulham's academy before making his first-team debut in 2016.

The defender made three appearances for the Championship club last season.

"It's a great feeling," he told Fulham's website. "I've been at this club for a few years now and it definitely feels like home for me.

Cardiff remained top of the Sky Bet Championship despite dropping their first points of the season in a 1-1 draw at Fulham.

They may have lost their 100 per cent record, but the manner of the fightback - substitute Danny Ward cancelled out Ryan Sessegnon's opener - was more proof that Neil Warnock's side possess the necessary qualities to contend for promotion this season.

The Bluebirds began with the confidence of a side which had won every one of their five league games so far this term.
