Stefan Johansen scored twice as Fulham laid out their promotion credentials with a stunning 4-1 victory over play-off rivals Huddersfield.

The Norwegian international's first-half double gave Fulham a fourth successive win and denied Huddersfield a victory which would have clinched a play-off spot.

Huddersfield had taken the lead through Chris Lowe's early penalty but goals from Scott Malone, Tom Cairney and Johansen left the home side reeling at 4-1 down at half-time.

Brighton have four in Championship Team of the Year, Sessegnon in

Brighton and Hove Albion's Spanish forward, Vicente, discusses Brighton's promotion push to the Premier League and how injury has blighted his international career.

Newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion have four players in the PFA Championship Team of the Year, while Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon is also included.

Brighton sealed promotion to the Premier League on Monday and have the core of their defence included, alongside Anthony Knockaert.

Newcastle also have three players included: defender Jamaal Lascelles, midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and striker Dwight Gayle.

The league's top scorer, 25-goal Chris Wood, is also included.

Fulham continued their push for a play-off berth in the Sky Bet Championship with a 3-1 home victory over 10-man Aston Villa.

Ryan Sessegnon, Sone Aluko and Neeskens Kebano were on the scoresheet for the Cottagers who have now won four of their last five league matches.

Jack Grealish had briefly drawn Villa level just after half-time, but the visitors were always up against after seeing striker Jonathan Kodjia sent off in the 22nd minute after clashing with Ryan Fredericks.

Fulham boosted their Sky Bet Championship play-off chances by seeing off Norwich 3-1 at Carrow Road - after playing the entire second half with 10 men.

The Cottagers were leading 1-0 on the stroke of half-time when striker Chris Martin was sent off - on the ground where he made his name - for elbowing Mitchell Dijks.

That left the visitors facing a tough fight to defend Stefan Johansen's early opener, but a penalty just after the break from Tom Cairney made that task a good deal easier.

Floyd Ayite scored his third goal in four days as Fulham beat Ipswich 3-1 victory to maintain their play-off push.

Ayite opened the scoring for the Cottagers in the 17th minute before Scott Malone doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark and Stefan Johansen made the game safe in the second half.

Christophe Berra's injury-time header proved to be only scant consolation for Ipswich.

Manager Slavisa Jokanovic responded to his side losing 4-2 at Derby by replacing much criticised keeper David Button...
