On Tuesday, The Times claimed that Hector has once again become a transfer target for Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who had already been linked with the left-back last summer.

However, back then, Hector opted to stay at Cologne and renew his contract through to 2021 with Liverpool also said to have been interested.

"I am not losing any sleep," Stoger told...

Cologne deny making an approach for Tottenham's Kevin Wimmer

Mauricio Pochettino taps Dele Alli as one of the best players in England, but says he has room to develop.

Cologne sporting director Jorg Schmadtke has insisted the club have not made an approach to re-sign Kevin Wimmer from Tottenham Hotspur.

Reports in Germany last week claimed Wimmer, 24, could return to his former club on loan after he was pictured visiting over Christmas.

The defender has found opportunities limited at Tottenham this season but a Spurs source told ESPN FC there is no truth in the story, which was confirmed by Schmadtke.

"Kevin was here. His situation at Spurs could be better, but...

Mavraj has made 29 appearances for Albania and played 43 league games for Cologne after switching from Greuther Fuerth in 2014.

"It makes me proud that I'm trusted to help this...

Rhine rivals Cologne and Bayer Leverkusen shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Mungersdorferstadion on Wednesday night.

Cologne took the lead in the 21st minute when Anthony Modeste scored his 13th goal of the season with a fine first-time strike into the far corner.

It was a little harsh on Leverkusen, who had looked the more dangerous, so Wendell's equaliser just before half-time was more than deserved for Roger Schmidt's men.

There were no further goals in a rather subdued second half with Cologne...

Cologne missed an opportunity to move into the top six of the Bundesliga on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw at struggling Werder Bremen.

Cologne took the lead in the 28th minute when Anthony Modeste's shot hit the legs of Jaroslav Drobny and the ball trickled through for Artjoms Rudnevs to convert into an open goal.

Serge Gnabry levelled with a long-range strike, although Thomas Kessler could arguably have done better as the shot bounced just in front of his outstretched arms and into the...
