Crystal Palace make Frank De Boer offer to become new boss - sources

Frank De Boer is in line to replace Sam Allardyce at Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace have offered Frank De Boer the manager's job and he is likely to take it, sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN FC.

The Eagles are looking for their eighth boss in seven years in the wake of Sam Allardyce's shock resignation, after having kept the London club in the Premier League.

De Boer, 47, left his last job at Inter Milan in November -- having been in charge for only 14 matches -- after he was unable to produce the consistency which saw him deliver the Eredivisie...

Joe Ledley considering move abroad after release from Crystal Palace

Joe Ledley is looking for a new club after being released by Crystal Palace.

Wales midfielder Joe Ledley could be tempted by a move abroad as he weighs up his career options this summer.

Ledley made nearly 100 appearances for Crystal Palace after joining from Celtic in January 2014.

But he was frozen out by then-Eagles boss Sam Allardyce during the second half of the 2016-17 season and released by the Premier League club last week.

"It's been frustrating," Ledley said after helping Wales to a 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw in Serbia on Sunday night.

"I don't know why...

Christophe Galtier on Crystal Palace manager shortlist - sources

Christophe Galtier has emerged as a contender for the Crystal Palace job.

Former St Etienne boss Christophe Galtier, a friend of Eric Cantona, is on the shortlist to become the new Crystal Palace manager, sources close to the Selhurst Park club have told ESPN FC.

Galtier played alongside Cantona, who was banned from football for nine months after his kung fu kick at a Palace fan at Selhurst in 1995.

Palace are searching for a new manager after Sam Allardyce stepped down 48 hours after the final game of the season.

Claudio Ranieri, Frank de Boer and Sean Dyche are among...

Emmanuel Adebayor: Decision to join Crystal Palace was biggest mistake

Emmanuel Adebayor has rediscovered his form at Istanbul Basaksehir.

Emmanuel Adebayor has told L'Equipe that signing for Crystal Palace last year was "the worst decision of my career."

Adebayor, 33, joined Palace in January 2016, six months after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.

But the former Arsenal forward made just 12 Premier League appearances, seven of which were starts, and scored once in a miserable spell.

"I had some great times in clubs that are among the best in the country. I felt good there, my family too. The only mistake I made was signing for Crystal...

Crystal Palace's cheeky gag on Twitter after General Election

With the transfer window open and silly season in full swing, several football players and clubs have begun using their official social media channels to nip spurious transfer rumours in the bud.

To that end, a rather large rumour was sparked in the aftermath of the General Election result when a tweet from the BBC's political editor Laura Kuenssberg appeared to confirm that Prime Minister Theresa May would be arriving at Palace on Friday afternoon.
