Timothy Weah celebrates his goal against St. Mirren on Wednesday.

United States forward Tim Weah said it was an "amazing feeling" to celebrate a goal in his first start for two months in Celtic's 2-0 win at St. Mirren in the Scottish Premier League on Wednesday.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has finally lost patience with striker Alfredo Morelos after the Colombian was sent off for a fifth time this season during their 2-1 Scottish Premiership defeat at Old Firm rivals Celtic on Sunday.

Morelos was shown a red card for elbowing Celtic captain Scott Brown in an off-the-ball incident with just half an hour gone at Celtic Park.

"No one was injured in the incident but a number...

Leicester's Rodgers: I didn't leave Celtic for 'mediocre club'

New Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has brushed aside suggestions that he moved to a "mediocre club" after leaving Scottish champions Celtic to return to the Premier League.

Rodgers, who won the domestic Treble twice in Scotland, was appointed Leicester's new boss on Tuesday after Claude Puel's sacking and signed a deal until June 2022.

Rodgers' decision to leave Celtic before he accomplished a "Treble-Treble" did not sit well with the club's supporters who unfurled a banner during their...
