The ESPN FC crew discuss Tottenham, their transfer targets and whether they can compete in the market.
The ESPN FC crew discuss Tottenham, their transfer targets and whether they can compete in the market.

Josh King is something of a rarity, the teenage prodigy who became a late developer. At 25, Bournemouth's Norwegian forward is at the most important crossroads of his career.

Last weekend, King admitted Tottenham's widely reported interest in his signature had "intrigued" him and acknowledged Spurs as "a big team who play in the Champions League."

King, though, will also recognise that a move to Tottenham would be as backup to Harry Kane, the role that Vincent Janssen failed to...

Bournemouth striker Joshua King 'intrigued' by link to Tottenham

ESPNFC's Tottenham correspondent Dan Kilpatrick believes Spurs may struggle to compete financially in the transfer market.
Harry Kane aspires to emulate Ronaldo and Messi's Ballon d'Or glory, and believes he can achieve that at Tottenham.
ESPN's Tottenham correspondent Dan Kilpatrick tells us who he thinks Tottenham will sign this summer.
Stewart Robson explains why Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon isn't right for Liverpool and instead may be sought after by Spurs.

Bournemouth striker Joshua King has told the Daily Echo he hopes to be at the club next season, but he was "intrigued" by reports of interest from Tottenham.

King, 25, scored 16 Premier League goals for Bournemouth as they finished ninth, leading to claims that Tottenham were monitoring him.

"I was focusing on the season and finishing it strongly," King said when asked if he was aware of the speculation. "But I would be a liar if I said I hadn't noticed it. It was in most papers in England and you...

Paul Mariner talks how Jermain Defoe is still such a success in the Premier League and what he'll bring to Bournemouth should they end up signing him.

Harry Arter has told how his Bournemouth teammates and the fans provided support after the loss of his stillborn daughter.

Arter and partner Rachel Irwin were devastated after baby Renee died in the womb in December 2015.

The Republic of Ireland midfielder admits he was in a "dark place'' in the days, weeks and months after the tragedy.

But gradually, and with the help of friends, family and the football community, Arter has been able to deal with the pain.

"I had an immediate desire to forget,''...

Asmir Begovic hoping for a reunion with John Terry at Bournemouth

Paul Mariner talks how Jermain Defoe is still such a success in the Premier League and what he'll bring to Bournemouth should they end up signing him.

Asmir Begovic says it would be "great" if his former Chelsea teammate John Terry joins him in signing for Bournemouth this summer.

Terry is weighing up his options as a free agent after bringing to an end an illustrious 22-year career at Stamford Bridge, and has reportedly attracted interest from Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.

Bournemouth were heavily linked with a move for Terry in January, and Begovic -- who moved to the Vitality Stadium from Chelsea earlier this month in search...

SYDNEY -- Australia defender Brad Smith has been ruled out of the Confederations Cup after injuring his hamstring in a World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia.

Football Federation Australia on Sunday said Smith's place in the squad will be taken by Alex Gersbach, who will join the team in Russia.

Smith, who plays for Bournemouth in the Premier League, will also miss Tuesday's friendly against Brazil.

"It is not a serious injury, but the recovery time required for Brad to get back onto the pitch...
