Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.
Adama Traore to Wolves
Wolves seem set to buy Traore and could pay more than his release clause of £18 million. According to The Sun, that amount has to be paid in full, whereas the Midlands club would prefer to pay in instalments, wanting to spread the payments and avoid any possible problems with financial fair play.
Wilfried Zaha to Chelsea
Zaha is hot property in the Premier League, and it seems like the Blues are in pole position to sign him. Reports in The Mirror suggest that Tottenham have withdrawn their interest because they believe the deal would be too pricey, leaving the Ivory Coast international with a path to Stamford Bridge. If Willian moves, Zaha could be the one to fill his shoes.
Aaron Ramsey to Chelsea
Maurizio Sarri still seems to be looking to make his mark on his squad, despite claiming he's not interested in the transfer market. The latest rumour is that he's planning a £35m move for Arsenal's Ramsey, according to The Express, with the Welshman yet to sign a new deal with the Gunners.
Jerome Boateng to Manchester United
Manchester United are still searching for a centre-back to bolster their defence, as the Toby Alderweireld saga rumbles on, with the Belgian looking increasingly like he will stay at Tottenham Hotspur with each passing day of the window. Bild are reporting that United have renewed their interest in the Bayern Munich defender and contacted the club in a bid to open talks with the German.
Ilkay Gundogan to Inter
After Inter's interest in Real Madrid's Luka Modric yielded no results, the Italian club have reportedly turned their attention to Manchester City's star Gundogan. According to Tuttosport, the German could be available for around €40m, and point to the fact that his contract, expiring in 2020, hasn't been extended yet as evidence that he might be available.
