Dele Alli seeks pay rise with Tottenham as Real Madrid circle

With the January window on the horizon, there's plenty brewing in the transfer market. All the latest deals and potential deals can be found here.

TOP STORY: Alli seeking pay rise with Spurs

Following talk this week that Manchester United are weighing up moves for Harry Kane and Danny Rose, Dele Alli is the latest Tottenham player to be the subject of growing transfer speculation.

The 21-year-old has opened negotiations with Spurs over improving his £50,000-a-week contract, and it's believed he is seeking more than double that figure to commit his future to the club.

The Daily Mail reports that Spurs are relaxed about the situation -- given that Alli's current deal has five years remaining -- but with Real Madrid expressing a firm interest in the midfielder they may want to secure his future sooner rather than later.

City and United go head-to-head

Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker is at the centre of a transfer tug of war between Manchester City and Manchester United, claims The Sun.

The 22-year-old scored against United in the Europa League last season and has been valued at £30 million after helping Anderlecht lift the Belgian title.

United have been keeping tabs on Dendoncker since his impressive display against them in April, with City also checking on his progress in Anderlecht's 4-3 win away to Mechelen on Friday night.

The report says Chelsea and Everton have both enquired about Dendoncker in the past, with the youngster tipped to play a part for Belgium at the World Cup next summer.

Race on for United youngster

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is a target for up to 14 clubs ahead of his contract's expiration next summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Henderson has impressed during his loan spell at Shrewsbury this season, helping the League One side remain unbeaten in their first 12 matches to sit top of the table.

The 20-year-old featured in England's Under-20 World Cup victory in June, and his development has attracted a host of admirers that include Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Benfica and Olympiakos.

United are keen to tie Henderson to a new deal, but the shot-stopper will take time to consider his options before committing his future.

- Philippe Coutinho remains Barcelona's No. 1 target when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Daily Mirror. The Catalan giants believe it will be "very difficult" to persuade Liverpool to sell midseason, but are reportedly prepared to offer £120m for the Brazilian's services.

- Juventus are happy to wait until next summer to complete a move for Emre Can, claims TalkSport. The Liverpool midfielder's contract expires in June, with the Italian champions eager to tie up a free transfer rather than pay a hefty fee to expedite Can's arrival in January.

- Arsenal must meet Hirving Lozano's £30m release clause if they want to prise the forward from PSV Eindhoven. The Gunners have sent chief scout Steve Rowley to watch Lozano, who has scored six times in six Eredivisie matches since joining from Pachuca in June.

- West Ham could be prepared to sell teenage prospect Reece Oxford despite his nomination for the European Golden Boy award, reports the Daily Mirror. The 18-year-old is currently on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach and has previously been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal.
