Toe Poke Daily: What did Neymar say to Messi after Brazil's win over Argentina?

To watch the 2019 Copa America, sign up for ESPN+.
ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop examines Lionel Messi's future with Argentina following the Albiceleste's defeat to Brazil in the Copa America in the semis.
Gab Marcotti says that despite improvement by Argentina, Brazil were "a challenge too far for them" in their 2-0 victory at the Estadio Mineirao.

The Toe Poke Daily is here every day to bring you all the weirdest stories, quirkiest viral content and top trolling that the internet has to offer, all in one place.

Jump to: Blatter suing FIFA for 'moral damage.' No, really

Former Barcelona teammates Neymar and Lionel Messi shared a quick catch-up this week as Brazil took on Argentina in the Copa America semifinals.

The pair were filmed sharing a quick hug in the stadium corridor after the game as Messi made his way back to the dressing room having suffered a dispiriting 2-0 defeat.

While the footage shows that Messi did not say anything during their three-second encounter (he was probably all talked out after his postmatch tirade at the officials), it is inconclusive as to whether Neymar took the opportunity to deliver a brief, hushed message into his friend's ear.

We can only speculate on what was said... so let's do just that!

Blatter suing FIFA for 'moral damage.' No, really

Proving that truth is largely beyond parody when it comes to FIFA, former president Sepp Blatter is suing football's governing body for "moral damage."

The former president, who is serving a six-year ban from football, is also taking legal action to reclaim around 60 wristwatches which he claims belong to him but are currently in FIFA's possession.

"These are my watches, give me my watches" the 83-year-old told BBC Sport. "It's important for me. I worked in the watch industry and I made my collection. Forty-one years they were [at FIFA], I could have taken them home, a long time ago.

"Why are they fighting for these watches? There is no respect, there is no respect by the president [Gianni Infantino]."

As you may recall, Blatter's 17-year reign as president came to a spectacular end in 2015 amid a global investigation into widespread corruption within the FIFA hierarchy.

Investigations are also ongoing into possible corruption pertaining to FIFA's decision to award the 2022 World Cup hosting duties to Qatar, which occurred during his presidency.

Those are the facts. We'll let you make your own minds up about moral damage.
