Manchester United's Paul Pogba gets Juventus gift bag after defeat

Mark Ogden reports from Old Trafford after Jose Mourinho's news conference following his side's 1-0 defeat against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.

Paul Pogba incurred the wrath of Manchester United fans once again on Tuesday night thanks to another dalliance with social media that came after his side's Champions League defeat against Juventus.

Despite having just succumbed to a disappointing 1-0 loss, the French midfielder was all smiles while posing for an Instagram photo with Juan Cuadrado in the dressing room at Old Trafford.

Just to make matters worse, Pogba was seen to be holding a Juve-themed gift bag in his hand.

Several supporters took umbrage at this supposed lack of contrition, while other speculated as to what exactly was in the bag.

"This is everything wrong with United at the minute. Just lost a game at home but it's all high fives and hugs with mates. Oh, to have a Keano or a Robbo in that dressing room," one suitably irked fan wrote on Twitter.

"What's in that Juve bag Pogba is holding? A contract perhaps?" another theorised.

Intriguing to think, but we're guessing it's just a few items from the Juventus executive line offered as a courteous memento by an old acquaintance.

Still, where's the fun in that?
