Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo soaks up sun as he still awaits first goal

Portugal head coach Fernando Santos defended Cristiano Ronaldo after he no showed at the UEFA awards hailing his sportsmanship for privately congratulating Luka Modric.
Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic tried to qualify comments about Ronaldo not attending the UEFA awards ceremony insisting his comments were lost in translation.
Lionel Messi says the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo has weakened rivals Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho has revealed he was never offered an option to sign Cristiano Ronaldo before his shock move to Juventus from Real Madrid.

Will soaking up some sun during the international break help Cristiano Ronaldo to rediscover his goal-scoring touch?

Since making his €100 million move from Real Madrid to Juventus, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has failed to find the back of the net. Ronaldo looks relaxed enough as he tweeted a picture of himself sunbathing on a boat while so many of his fellow superstars were away with their national teams.

Ronaldo adds the caption "Vitamina D" to the picture -- perhaps he knows something we don't about its properties that will help his form in front of goal.

Perhaps everyone is overreacting at a player who has simply gone three matches without a goal.

It's worth noting he only scored two league goals before December last season and has still earned himself a nomination for the FIFA The Best award.
