Cardiff City's Neil Warnock asks for 'minute's booing' at opposing clubs

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has asked for a tribute befitting his hard-earned reputation.

Having assumed and held the role of English football's most prominent pantomime villain for many a year, Neil Warnock is making plans to bow out in appropriate fashion as and when the time comes.

Appearing on Sky Sports' Goals on Sunday programme, the Cardiff City manager jokingly requested that, when he does eventually shuffle off this mortal coil, fans of all opposing clubs pay tribute in a manner befitting his hard-earned reputation.

Rather than the standard minute's silence, Warnock said he...

Does Harry Kane have baby daughter Ivy to thank for FA Cup hat trick?

There could be a simple explanation for Harry Kane's dramatic return to form for Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round victory over Fulham.

Kane scored a clinical hat trick in a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage, having not scored from open play in five matches since his previous treble, against West Bromwich Albion on Jan. 14.

After conceding a soft penalty in the 90th minute with the score level at 2-2, the Long An players decided en masse to boycott the rest of the match.

Indeed, goalkeeper Minh Nhut Nguyen even turned his back as the penalty kick was successfully dispatched.

The demonstration continued after the restart as Long An simply refused...

Cristiano Ronaldo lined up to star alongside Angelina Jolie in TV drama

Zidane says he's not worried by the number of goals Cristiano Ronaldo scores, as long as he contributes to the team.

Having conquered the world of football, Cristiano Ronaldo now appears to be turning his attention to acting.

According to reports, the Real Madrid superstar has signed up to appear in a new TV drama about Syrian refugees called "Hayat Koprusu" alongside Oscar winner Angelina Jolie.

Ronaldo has made no secret of his ambition to get into acting in the past and is set to start filming the series -- which focuses on a Syrian family fleeing the civil war for Turkey -- in April.

The wrong type of impact -- Berwick's mysterious 'trialist' is sent off

As first impressions go, this one left something to be desired:

Among the names of the subs on Berwick Rangers' team sheet for the Scottish League Two clash with Forfar was "trialist," an unnamed player presumably trying to win a contract at Shielfield Park.

The game duly began and, for 72 minutes, appears to have been an end-to-end encounter, given that it was 2-2 when our hero entered proceedings.

However,...
