Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: I prefer Real Madrid links to sack talk

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is delighted with his side after overcoming 'mission impossible' by qualifying for the Champions League last 16.
The two Premier League sides advanced from the group stage after late drama against Napoli and Barcelona.
Given Inter's draw with PSV and Barcelona having nothing to play for, Craig Burley says everything lined up for Tottenham to reach the UCL last 16.

Mauricio Pochettino said he would rather read rumours that he is being coveted by other clubs than see reports that he is close to losing his job at Tottenham.

Pochettino has been linked with Real Madrid after leading Spurs into the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday, and it was reported last week that Manchester United would like him to replace Jose Mourinho in the summer.

Asked if he is bored of the speculation, Pochettino told a news conference: "No. Why? This type of news I think...

Chelsea's Maurizio Sarri brands alleged racial abuse of Raheem Sterling 'disgusting'

Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek spoke out on the alleged racism his England team mate Raheem Sterling received by some 'Blues' fans in Man City's 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Pep Guardiola and Leroy Sane come to the defense of Raheem Sterling, who has spoken out against media coverage that he says 'helps fuel racism.'
Peter Walton calls on his experience to describe how referees can combat racial abuse from fans after an incident involving Raheem Sterling.

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri condemned the alleged racist abuse suffered by Manchester City star Raheem Sterling at Stamford Bridge as "disgusting" and backed the club's firm stance.

Sterling reportedly confirmed to police that he was subjected to racist abuse during Saturday's game, and on Tuesday, Chelsea suspended four supporters from attending games "pending further investigations" into the incident.

Video footage is being reviewed by Metropolitan Police as part of their investigation,...

Real Madrid target Manchester City's Brahim Diaz in £10m January deal - sources

Manchester United finish second in Group H while Manchester City top their group in the Champions League.
The FC panel assess if Manchester City deserve to be ahead of Barcelona and Juventus as the oddsmakers' favourites to win the Champions League.

Real Madrid want to sign Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz in the January transfer window and hope to agree a deal for around £10 million, sources have told ESPN.

Diaz, 19, is out of contract at the end of the season but Madrid want to complete a move in the new year to ensure he moves to the Bernabeu.

City have offered the Spain under-21 international a new contract but sources told ESPN FC that the former Malaga youth team player wants to leave to gain game more time.

Diaz has made just...
